Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg has failed to recover from the shoulder injury that ended his Guinness Six Nations campaign in time for Glasgow's clash with Cheetahs on Saturday.

The 26-year-old has not played since trudging off with a shoulder complaint against Ireland in week two of the Championship.

And he now faces a battle against the clock to get himself fit for next weekend's Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final showdown with Saracens.
