Reiss Nelson is ready to conquer Europe and believes a season in Germany can help him make England’s attack more explosive.
The Arsenal winger is coming to the end of a year with Hoffenheim and the impact of that move was evident on Thursday in Bristol; his jet-heeled performance, in which he set up Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal, was one of the highlights of the Under-21s 1-1 draw with Poland.
There is a wave of exciting forwards emerging, headed by Jadon Sancho and Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Nelson is taking inspiration from the exploits of his peers, who are both in the senior squad, and his ambition is to join them.
