Danny Cipriani will sit down with Gloucester this week to open talks about a new three-year deal.
The 34-year-old fly-half has been linked with a move away from Kingsholm this summer — with Toulon, Clermont and Harlequins among the interested parties.
Gloucester signed Cipriani on a cut-price contract but his value has soared on the back of his star performances. The Gain Line understands that Quins’ interest has stalled as they have three fly-halves — Marcus Smith, James Lang and Dimitri Catrakilis — locked in for next season.
