Raheem Sterling has confirmed his celebration for England's fifth goal against Montenegro was a direct response to racial abuse from the home side's supporters.
The Three Lions came from behind to run out comfortable winners in Podgorica on Monday night but the game was marred by chants aimed in the direction of some Three Lions players, particularly Danny Rose and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Gareth Southgate confirmed England will report Montenegro for racial abuse after monkey chants were made at the two players while a cigarette lighter was also thrown at Hudson-Odoi.

And Sterling has affirmed that his celebration, which saw the Manchester City star put his hands to his ears, was a clear message to racist Montenegro fans.
Taking to Twitter, Sterling shared a photo of himself performing the celebration, writing: 'Best way to silence the haters (and yeah I mean racists)'.
