Carlos Puyol has shown his loyalty to Barcelona is as strong as ever when asked to name who he thinks is the best defender in the world.
The former Nou Camp captain thinks his old team mate Gerard Pique is still the best centre back playing the game today.
The likes of Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs De Ligt and Sergio Ramos all have good claims for the title, but Puyol is certain that his fellow Catalan remains above the rest.
