Alan Shearer has mocked Sunderland after they suffered an agonising penalty shootout defeat to Portsmouth in the final of the Checkatrade Trophy on Sunday.
Lee Cattermole saw his spot-kick saved by Portsmouth's Craig MacGillivray as Pompey put away five flawless strikes to secure the trophy in front of a record-breaking crowd of 85,021 fans at Wembley.
And Newcastle United legend Shearer was not one to miss an opportunity to mock the supporters of the Toon's fierce rivals, brandishing the club as 's***', which he claimed he discovered by watching them on Netflix.
