Arsenal sent Rafa Benitez's Newcastle on the long journey back up to Tyneside with nothing to show for their efforts, following a 2-0 victory at the Emirates on Monday.

Aaron Ramsey's neatly placed strike and Alexandre Lacazette's precision lob made all the difference, as the Gunners jumped up to third place in the table ahead of arch rivals Tottenham.

While all cameras were trained on every movement of the ball, Sportsmail kept a keen eye on the things you may have missed.

 The Ramsey realisation

The Welsh wizard hit the back of the net once again for Unai Emery's side, covering every blade of grass in the process and controlling midfield for the Gunners.

At the end of the first half, as well as a goal to his name, Ramsey also boasted: the most touches (76), most passes (50), most recoveries (10), most tackles (2) and most shots (2).

Arsenal fans were quick to rejoice in his majestic performance, before quickly realising once again that he's off to Juventus at the end of the season.
