I can understand Danny Rose's desire to quit football... no one deserves the racist abuse he has suffered (and he's right about the fines dished out by the authorities — they're pathetic!)

Danny Rose said this week that he cannot wait to retire from football because of the racism which blights the modern game.
The Tottenham left back was among the England players targeted with racist abuse in Montenegro last month and he does not expect the situation to change when football's authorities continually fail to punish the offenders, or dish out tiny fines.
