Lionel Messi could land a bumper new contract worth £175million with Barcelona desperate for him to commit his long-term future to the club.
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed the club have drawn up proposals for Messi's new deal which could keep him at the Nou Camp for the remainder of his career.
The 31-year-old, who graduated from Barcelona's youth system, is already tied down until 2021 but is expected to sign an extension in the near future.
