England all-rounder Ben Stokes believes the incident which threatened to ruin his career may have been laced with a silver lining as it has made him wiser.

Stokes was arrested in September 2017 following a late-night street brawl in Bristol. 

He was found not guilty of affray almost a year later, but missed an Ashes series after being suspended by England.
