And the Manchester City boss is confident his side have the mental toughness to deal with the huge pressure of completing a 100 percent finish to their league campaign. City's win over Crystal Palace put the Etihad Stadium side back to the top of the league momentarily before Liverpool moved back to the summit with their victory over Chelsea. Pep Guardiola was delighted with Manchester City's fighting spirit in beating Crystal Palace Raheem Sterling scored twice for City as they recorded an impressive win at Selhurst Park But with a game in hand over the Merseysiders, the current champions have their title destiny in their own hands. And Guardiola fears his side will need to win all five of their top-flight matches to pipe Liverpool to domestic glory. 'We think Liverpool are going to win all their games, but the Premier League is still in our hands. Gabriel Jesus scored City's third late on to make the three points secure at Selhurst Park 'We have to win every game if we want to make back-to-back titles, we know that, and they players have shown they want to do it. No doubts.' And Guardiola says his team are showing they can cope with the pressure as the season draws to an enthralling climax. The Spaniard said: 'We know that (we can handle the nerves). For a month in the Premier League, we know it'd be almost impossible, very difficult, if we dropped points. 'We've played with incredible personality in all the games, including Champions League games. Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitted it was hard to stop City asserting their dominance 'We've had 183 points in two seasons with five games left. Those are incredible numbers, especially in the Premier League, and shows how consistent we are.' On the win over Palace, Guardiola added: 'I'm so pleased. The amount of games we have - we had Brighton, three days later a game in the Champions League (against Tottenham and then today - so we're not fresh. 'We played 75-80 minutes so good, and then they pushed and we lost a bit of control. But really pleased.'
