Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has insisted it would not have been a problem if Jose Mourinho had replaced Santiago Solari.
Solari was sacked by Los Blancos on March 11 and immediately replaced by Zinedine Zidane who made a shock return having left the club in May 2018.
Mourinho was consistently linked with a return to the Santiago Bernabeu and although the Portuguese boss is known for falling out with his players, Carvajal was not worried about him taking charge.

Asked by Marca if he feared Mourinho's return, Carvajal said: 'No [he smiled]. There were a number of candidates on the table. There was no need to fear anyone, we just had to fight together.'
