Southampton goalkeeper Angus Gunn has all but ruled out switching his international allegiance from England to Scotland by signalling his desire to work with Gareth Southgate again.
Sportsmail reported in March that Gunn was considering following in his father Bryan's footsteps by representing Scotland.
But Southgate has high hopes for the 23-year-old having worked with him at England Under 21 level and Gunn has now underlined his ambition to link up with him in the future.

'England senior level is probably the pinnacle of anyone's career from this country,' Gunn said.
'I have really enjoyed working with Gareth Southgate. He has done amazing things with the senior team so I think it is definitely an ambition of mine to work with him again and to get in that squad.'
Gunn has represented England at every level from Under 16s to Under 21s but is yet to make his senior bow. Southgate invited him to take part in England's pre-World Cup training camp last summer.
