Bath players are unhappy with the treatment of outgoing coach Todd Blackadder and frustrations were previously vented through a mug engraved with: 'My boss is a c***'.

The Mail on Sunday understands the message was aimed at the club's hierarchy — topped by owner Bruce Craig — and the mug was entered by a player into the annual Secret Santa.

Blackadder will leave on his own terms to take up a job in Japan, although players feel the Kiwi was on 'borrowed time'.
