The Bolton fighter found himself out-boxed by Crawford who is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters on the planet right now. But after Crawford produced an illegal low blow in the sixth round, catching Khan between the legs, the decision was made by Khan and his team that he was in too much pain to continue and the knockout victory was awarded to Crawford. Amir Khan's decision to end his fight with Terence Crawford was met with wide dissatisfaction Boxing fans on Twitter were critical of the Lancastrian's decision to quit in the sixth round UFC fighter Dillon Danis called out Khan as a 'p***y' following his decision to end the contest Khan's decision not to use his allocated five-minute recovery time for a low blow raised issues UFC fighter Dillon Danis led the reaction to Khan's decision as he tweeted: 'Amir Khan is a p***y'. Danis, however, was not alone in his criticisms and many were left confused as to why Khan did not take his available five minutes recovery before making a call on whether he could push on. 'Amir Khan couldn't wait to quit that fight,' one user wrote. Terence Crawford dominated the fight but it represented a farcical end to the New York bout With many asking about Khan's future, one user urged not to make a contest against Kell Brook Khan's durability, namely his chin, has been questioned in his career as fans stuck the boot in 'You get 5 minutes to recover from a low blow don't you? and he quit straight away. Khan was naturally disappointed with how the fight played out and went on to apologise to an irate crowd inside Madison Square Garden for his decision not to carry on. It was a left hook below the belt that caught Khan in the sixth round as he was left in real pain Khan turned to the corner and later said the pain went from his stomach and down into his legs It marked a disappointing end to the night and Khan later apologised for the controversial end 'The fight was just getting interesting. Terence is a great fighter, you know I'm not taking anything away from him. 'I now realise why he's one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. I'm a good boxer but he was showcasing great skill, great movement. 'I was caught with a shot right below the belt and I could feel it. I was in pain.'
