Liverpool and Tottenham have been handed a boost ahead of the Champions League semi-finals after both saw Premier League fixtures brought forward.
On the penultimate weekend of domestic action, Liverpool were due to make the trip to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon while Tottenham would host AFC Bournemouth on Monday evening.
Having progressed to the last four of Europe's premier club competition, the Premier League has looked to give the two sides the best chance of reaching the final in Madrid by bringing games forward to extend preparation time.
