Callum Hudson-Odoi says he is on the road to recovery after posting from his hospital bed after undergoing an operation on his ruptured Achilles tendon.
The Chelsea winger hobbled off in the first half of his side's 2-2 draw with Burnley on Monday with the injury that curtails his breakthrough season.
He went under the knife on Monday evening and revealed in an Instagram post on Tuesday that the procedure was a success.
