Zinedine Zidane on Wednesday took aim at Barcelona by claiming Real Madrid are still the superior club despite an uninspiring domestic campaign.
Los Blancos have lifted the La Liga trophy an incredible 33 times in their history. Barcelona, meanwhile, are currently cantering towards their 26th.
Zidane's side have won the league only once in the last five seasons, while the Catalan club, in contrast, have been crowned champions three times in the same period.

Notwithstanding Barcelona's recent domestic dominance, however, Zidane is adamant that Real's history renders them the more esteemed club.
