Reports in Italy revealed the game was at risk of being suspended with racist chants ongoing

The mood turned ugly before the game even began on Wednesday as a group of passionate Lazio ultras unveiled a banner that read 'Honour to Benito Mussolini'.
That was soon followed up with fascist salutes performed near the Piazzale Loreto, the Milan square where the dictator was killed at the end of the Second World War in 1945.
