Harry Thacker admits he feels vindicated in his decision to leave Leicester after returning with Bristol to score the match-winning try on Saturday.
The hooker left Welford Road at the end of last season having grown frustrated by a lack of game time.
Last January, then 23 and at a crucial juncture in his career, Thacker knew he had a difficult decision to make. But it was one, he believes, he got right.
