The former Los Blancos player and coach did though suggest that the Frenchman would be more effective than Los Blancos' current midfield crop in front of goal. Speculation is a rife about Pogba's future at Old Trafford following another disappointing season for the Red Devils, one in which Pogba has blown hot and cold. Former Real Madrid player and coach Jorge Valdano has had his say on signing Paul Pogba Valdano said Pogba wouldn't bring much to Real's play but would offer goals from midfield The World Cup winner is United's top goalscorer from midfield - boosted by a purple patch in form that coincided with the interim appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - but that has not fully convinced Valdano to offer an enthusiastic blessing to a potential switch to the Bernabeu. I get paid to be on the field and fight for my team. That's all.' Read more: Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site dailymail and under his responsibility
