Jamie Carragher admits Liverpool enjoyed a spot of good fortune by Christian Atsu scoring after a blatant handball by Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds right-back blocked Saloman Rondon's goal-bound effort with his arm but the rebound was slotted home by Newcastle winger Atsu.

And that meant the referee did not have to bring the play back, brandish a red card to Alexander-Arnold and award a penalty.
