Swansea City have offered Graham Potter an improved contract in an effort to fight off interest from Brighton.
Brighton have made Potter their No 1 choice to replace Chris Hughton and had an approach rejected earlier this week by Swansea, who want £2m compensation for the Englishman.
Talks are ongoing between the parties, with Swansea facing a major challenge to keep the 43-year-old in the face of a Premier League opportunity.
