The Azerbaijan FA have thrown open the possibility of Chelsea and Arsenal being handed up to 10,000 extra tickets each ahead of the Europa League final in Baku on May 29.
The showpiece event has been heavily criticised, with UEFA initially making only 6,000 tickets in the 68,700-capacity Baku Olympic Stadium available for each team.
In addition, the last direct flight for the 4,000km journey from London to Baku leaves on May 25 and escalating prices for indirect flights on the day of the game mean that many fans may miss out on attending the final.

Both clubs had been given an initial 6,000 allocation for the final at Baku's Olympic Stadium
However, AFFA general secretary Elkhan Mammadov insisted that both clubs were free to arrange direct charter flights for their supporters and urged fans who wanted tickets to simply email directly on [email protected] or [email protected].
Mammadov said: 'UEFA's message is if a club will provide the details of the charter flight and those number of tickets they
