Kylian Mbappe has accused Thomas Tuchel of stopping him winning the Golden Shoe ahead of Lionel Messi after the Paris Saint-Germain boss benched his forward for games against Strasbourg and Nantes.
The friction comes after Tuchel watched Mbappe hint at a move away from the French capital at the Ligue 1 awards evening on Sunday – in which the forward scooped both Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year.
However, the Golden Shoe appears to have escaped him with Messi (36) four goals clear of nearest rival Mbappe in the standings.
