Chelsea were this week ordered to pay their former boss Antonio Conte £9million in compensation, taking their spending on sacking managers to £92.9m.
Conte was dismissed last July despite leading Chelsea to the FA Cup trophy after they failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Long-standing high-profile differences with Abramovich saw Mourinho leave the club the first time. This figure was revealed in results for the financial year ending in June 2008.

Avram Grant, May 2008
Compensation: £5.2m
Grant was apparently left feeling 'betrayed, upset and angry' following his sacking, days after his side lost to Manchester United in the Champions League final. He spent eight months in charge.
