Arjen Robben has laid the blame at the door of Florentino Perez for his departure from Real Madrid a decade ago.

The Dutchman became surplus to requirements when Madrid embarked on their second Galactico era in the summer of 2009 when Cristiano Ronaldo joined for £80m.

But the 35-year-old believes leaving the Bernabeu after just two seasons proved to be a blessing as he gets set to say farewell to Bayern Munich after a decade of service.
