Mercedes have decided to pay tribute to the late Niki Lauda by keeping the red star on its F1 car, introduced ahead of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, forever.

Formula One is currently mourning the death of legendary driver Lauda after he sadly passed away at the age of 70 on Monday - eight months after undergoing a lung transplant.

And the tributes have since been pouring in for the three-time world champion at Monte Carlo ahead of Sunday's race.
