Bayern finished the campaign by pulling off a domestic double with the Bundesliga title and the German DFB Pokal cup. After a season-long battle against rivals Borussia Dortmund the Bavarians emerged on top, and the afternoon was spent both relishing the season while also saying farewell to two teary club legends. Bayern Munich stars took to the city centre on Sunday afternoon to parade their winnings Dressed in traditional German attire, the players took to a podium in the famous Marienplatz Franck Ribery broke down in tears while trying to address supporters for one final time It all got too much for Ribery, who is leaving the club along with team-mate Arjen Robben (left) Wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are departing the club following long tenures, during which they helped Munich become one of the most dominant sides in European football. Making their final address to supporters, Ribery and Robben were afforded special attention upon a podium in the city's Marienplatz centre. Wearing sunglasses, Robben coolly spoke to supporters before passing the microphone over to Ribery. The Dutchman luckily escaped the emotion, but his French team-mate was not quite so fortunate. The famous historic centre of the city became a sea of red and white as thousands turned out Looking cool in shades, Robben waved to the crowds and said his final goodbyes The emotion was took much for Ribery, who was seen crying behind the club's trophies Robert Lewandowski was lapping up the occasion, after finishing top goal-scorer once more Ribery was seen struggling to speak as supporters began to chant his name, before clutching his hand to his face and attempting to fight back the tears. The surrounding area was bathed in a sea of red shirts and flags, as the masses came out to celebrate yet another year of Bayern dominance. Niko Kovac's team now look to the future, and will act to replace Robben and Ribery in the summer transfer window. The club hold a long-standing interest in Chelsea wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi, after having multiple bids knocked back in January. Manchester City's Leroy Sane also remains an option, with the German forward growing disillusioned after falling down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.
