Young guns Marcus Smith, Ben Curry and Alex Dombrandt will all feature for an England XV against the Barbarians this Saturday as stand-in coach Jim Mallinder revealed his squad for the game.

The former Northampton Saints coach, who is taking charge of the national team for this exhibition match on Sunday at Twickenham, has picked a seriously inexperienced squad as expected.

As he is without the Exeter and Saracens stars who will contend the Premiership Final the day before, and as those in proper contention for the World Cup are being held back it is a youthful squad.
