Sean Cox has congratulated Liverpool after they lifted the Champions League trophy for a sixth time on Saturday.
The Reds beat Premier League rivals Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.
The father of three was the victim of an unprovoked attacked outside Anfield last year ahead of Liverpool's Champions League semi-final against Roma, leaving him with life-changing injuries.

Mr Cox was left in a coma for six weeks after the incident, but he was able to watch Saturday's showpiece finale from his home in County Meath with his family, after being discharged from hospital for the evening.
