Gascoigne, 52, was caught on camera seemingly offering money for the Class A drug on Friday. Gascoigne, who has long battled addiction, attempted to allay fears, tweeting that he was 'well and safe' on Saturday. Alongside a picture of himself kissing the England shirt in his pomp, Gascoigne wrote: 'I love you all from the bottom of my heart.' The PFA and the Sporting Chance Clinic have reached out to Paul Gascoigne He also uploaded a picture of himself sitting in a hot tub on Monday morning. Gascoigne is familiar with Sporting Chance, who have helped him previously. The charity are funded by the PFA and help current and former athletes overcome addiction. Those involved say Gascoigne knows exactly who to contact when in need of help. Sportsmail contacted a representative of the former player for comment.
