The latest report does not disclose the fee to be exchanged between the two clubs, although it is believed Lyon value their player at £44m with Madrid making an opening offer of £26m. The 23-year-old has made 79 appearances for the French club since his 2017 move from Le Havre and has featured twice in the France national team, attracting interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
