Jo Konta will net a £3.5million payday if she wins the French Open, by triggering lucrative bonuses in her sponsorship deals.
On top of the £2m prize money for the winner at Roland Garros, Sportsmail can reveal that the British No 1 would cash in a further £1.5m thanks to performance-related clauses in her contracts with brands including Jaguar and Babolat.
Konta, who is already Britain's highest-paid current sportswoman, would still likely enjoy a few such bonuses after her impressive run to the semi-final, which in itself will win her over £500,000 in prize money.
