Sean Longstaff has dismissed suggestions he could move to Manchester United as he has unfinished business at Newcastle.

There were suggestions that United could offer £20million-plus for the prospect.

It came despite Longstaff suffering serious ligament damage in his knee — with the 21-year-old admitting he had 'learned to walk again' recently.

He has now started running and kicking a ball again and could be fit for the start of the new season, but rejected the idea of moving to Old Trafford.

Asked about the interest from United, Longstaff replied: 'It shows how far I have come.

'If someone told me at the start of the season I'd be getting linked with these teams I'd have laughed.
