The Bournemouth striker was quickest to react when Dele Alli's header cannoned off the bar. Wilson wheeled off in celebration but referee Ovidiu Hategan soon called for a review of the goal after it appeared he had fouled a Swiss player in the build-up to his finish. Callum Wilson (right) thought he had scored a vital goal for England against Switzerland Replays showed that Wilson did make contact with a Switzerland player as the initial ball is delivered but the decision remains frustrating for the Three Lions. There were six minutes remaining when Wilson found the back of the net but the decision left the travelling supporters furious as they were heard chanting 'f**k VAR!'. It is the second time in four days that they have seen potential winning goal ruled out by VAR. In the semi-final against Holland on Thursday, Jesse Lingard came off the bench to fire low into the bottom corner, making it 2-1 to Gareth Southgate's side. But celebrations were halted when it emerged Lingard looked to be fractionally offside and the goal was ruled out.
