Chris Froome is set for 'at least six months' away from cycling after fracturing his femur, elbow and ribs in a horrendous crash.
The British star lost consciousness after smashing into a wall in the Criterium du Dauphine on Wednesday having taken his hands off the bars to blow his nose.
Froome was operated on for six hours in total and he is making promising progress in hospital.
