Manchester United are set to spend big this summer as they look to overhaul their under-performing squad and revitalise the club.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already signed Swansea winger Daniel James but is desperate to bring in more players with a right back, centre back and forward all part of his plan.
With the club's recruitment strategy still in the hands of Ed Woodward after talks over hiring a sporting director were shelved, Sportsmail assesses United's principal targets, where they would fit in and how much they are expected to cost.

AARON WAN BISSAKA - CRYSTAL PALACE - RIGHT BACK - £50M
The Crystal Palace defender is the obvious candidate to become the long-term solution for United at right back.
A sensational breakthrough campaign for the Eagles has seen him emerge as one of the Premier League's and Europe's best-performing players in his position.
Last season Wan-Bissaka made the most clearances and interceptions, won the most tackles, had the highest tackle success and completed the most take-ons of all the Premier League's full backs.
His success has led to a hefty price tag though and United will have to part with around £50m in order to sign him. Solskjaer has made it clear that he is the man he wants though and a deal looks likely.

THOMAS MEUNIER - PSG - RIGHT BACK - £30M
If United are priced out of a move for Wan-Bissaka then they seemingly have a ready-made alternative in Meunier.
The Belgian has seen his first team chances limited in Paris following the arrival of Dani Alves and now, at the age of 27, he wants to be playing regularly.
PSG have set their asking price at £30m, a more realistic figure that could prove to be good value for a player in his prime.
Meunier has attracted interest from both Arsenal and Everton though and the fact he turns 28 in September could put them off as they try and recruit more young players.

MOUSSA DEMBELE - LYON - STRIKER - £40M
Solskjaer is desperate to shake up his misfiring strikeforce this summer and the 22-year-old Frenchman is one name being considered.
Dembele only moved from Celtic to Lyon last summer but enjoyed a prolific season, scoring 23 times in all competitions.
Reports last month suggested United are willing to offer as much as £40m for the former Fulham striker as they prepare to replace Romelu Lukaku, who has been linked with Inter Milan.
Lyon paid Celtic £20m for Dembele in the summer of 2018 and so could potentially at least double their money within 12 months of his arrival if they decide to sell.

TANGUY NDOMBELE - LYON - CENTRAL MIDFIELD - £70M
Everybody seems to be after the 22-year-old French midfielder this summer after an impressive season with Lyon.
Tottenham have already opened talks over a possible club record deal for Ndombele but the clubs remain apart on valuation.
The French side want a whopping £70m for their prized asset, a significant fee for United that could put them off.
If they lose Paul Pogba to Real Madrid then they could pursue a deal for Ndombele but expect Solskjaer to focus on improving his defence first.

ERIC DIER - TOTTENHAM - DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD - £40M
Dier has been linked with United before and his versatility would allow Solskjaer to use him in both midfield and defence.
He managed 28 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign due to injury and poor form, with Mauricio Pochettino opting for Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko in midfield.
