Eddie Hearn has claimed Anthony Joshua's defeat to Andy Ruiz Jnr 'was like a relief' to his client because it has taken the pressure off of the former heavyweight champion.
Joshua suffered the first defeat of his professional career in New York on June 1 when he was dropped four times by his Mexican opponent and the referee stepped in during the seventh round.
He lost the IBF, WBO and WBA titles to Ruiz Jnr on that fateful evening and the pair are expected to go toe-to-toe in a rematch towards the end of the year.
