The European governing body has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Bulgarian Football Union after incidents involving supporters during Monday's Group A qualifier against Kosovo in Sofia. It is understood the charges relate to chants against ethnic Albanians. Bulgaria may have to play England in a partially closed stadium for their qualifier in October A hearing will take place on July 18 and, if found guilty, Bulgaria would face the minimum punishment of a partial stadium closure for their next home game - the October 14 visit of England. England currently top the Group A standings with six points from two games. Bulgaria, who lost 3-2 to Kosovo this week, are bottom with two points from four outings. Last year England had to play a UEFA Nations League match in Croatia in a fully closed stadium after the hosts were punished over the appearance of a swastika on the pitch.
