The London 10K, formerly the British 10K, will see runners take to the streets of the capital on Saturday 21 July. Starting at Piccadilly, the race promises the 'ultimate tour of London', taking in iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, St James's Palace and Westminster Abbey. The ASICS London 10K, formerly the British 10K, will see runners take to the streets of the capital on Saturday 21 July The route also runs past the True Geographical Centre of London, down a closed Regent Street, the Strand and Embankment, before giving runners the best view across the river of the London Eye. Live bands and DJs will keep the pace going as runners approach the Downing Street finish line. Participants will run past iconic landmarks in the capital such as The London Eye, Big Ben, St James' Palace, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey Cathy McGinnis, Marketing Manager of ASICS UK said: 'ASICS doesn’t view running as an elitist sport. Runners can track their training progress using the OneASICS Runkeeper Go App and take part in free weekly running sessions to get them prepared for the big day Participants can take part in free weekly training runs where they will find support and encouragement from fellow ASICS London 10K runners and ASICS ambassadors.
