Frank Lampard is set to finalise a deal to become Chelsea manager by the end of the week as the Blues look to announce Maurizio Sarri's successor.
Sarri was allowed to return to Italy after Juventus agreed to pay £7million in compensation.
And according to the Evening Standard, Lampard, who is Chelsea's first choice for the role, is set to conclude a return to Stamford Bridge this week where he will sign a three-year contract.
