Leeds United have been handed a tricky opener against Bristol City as Marcelo Bielsa looks to guide them back into the Premier League.
Bielsa and his players fell short last season in the play-offs as they were beaten at Elland Road by Frank Lampard's Derby County - who themselves fell short in the final against Aston Villa.
The EFL season gets underway on Friday August 2 when newly-promoted Luton Town welcome Middlesbrough to Kenilworth Road while the opening weekend concludes with Derby's trip to relegated Huddersfield Town.
