Aidy Boothroyd has made the stark admission that Manchester United's pursuit of Aaron Wan-Bissaka has unsettled the right back at a key moment in his career.
Wan-Bissaka is one of United's prime targets for this window and they have had one bid rejected; talks are on-going with Crystal Palace, who want a guaranteed £50million for the 21-year-old, but they have not yet made a breakthrough.
The uncertainty around whether he will be staying in south London or moving to Manchester has now taken a toll; Wan-Bissaka, who is currently on duty with England's Under 21s at the European Championships in Italy, scored an own goal against France to cap a disappointing personal display.
