Spaniard Clotet, 42, was assistant to Monk, who was sacked on Tuesday, while Blues have added midfielder Craig Gardner to their coaching staff. 'Pep Clotet will be Blues' caretaker head coach, and the club is not actively seeking another head coach or manager at this time,' Birmingham said on their official website. Garry Monk was sacked as Birmingham manager on Tuesday over the use of his agent The club confirmed first-team coach James Beattie, goalkeeper coach Darryl Flahavan, head of physical performance Sean Rush and head of analysis Ryan Needs will all remain in their roles. Birmingham said their management team had been formally ratified on Thursday by chief executive Xuandong Ren and club director Edward Zheng. Ren added: 'We had a very positive talk with the guys and we are focused on what we want to try and achieve.
