Christian Pulisic will 'cut short his summer break' in effort to make an immediate impression with incoming Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.
The 20-year-old, who signed for Chelsea in a £58million deal from Borussia Dortmund back in January, is currently on international duty with the United States at the Concacaf Gold Cup.
The US are fancied to go all the way and make July 7's final - which is just three days after Chelsea's non-internationals return for the beginning of pre-season.
