Having confirmed his intention to retire at the age of 35, Fernando Torres will go down as one of Liverpool's - and the Premier League's - deadliest ever strikers.
Across three season from 2007 until 2010, the Spaniard set a goalscoring ratio of 0.84 goals per 90 minutes in the Premier League, excluding penalties.
That level of consistency sets him apart from many other Premier League strikers, with the likes of Thierry Henry getting only 0.73 and Alan Shearer on 0.71 over their three best consecutive Premier League seasons.
