Lewis Hamilton continued his emphatic start to the season by taking a convincing victory in the French Grand Prix.

The five-time world champion led the 53-lap race in blistering sunshine from start to finish. It was his sixth win in eight races, rendering the title race virtually over with little more than a third of the season completed.

Hamilton leads Sebastian Vettel, who was fifth at Circuit Paul Ricard, by 76 points.
