Manchester United are ready to battle bitter rivals Liverpool in pursuit of Junior Firpo from Real Betis as they look to bolster their defensive ranks.
Following a tumultuous end of the season at Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to splash the cash this summer in an attempt to revamp his squad.
The United boss has identified Firpo as a possible candidate to come into his side at left-back, but will be forced to make a significant outlay according to Marca.
