Royal Ascot sprint hero Blue Point has been retired to stud with connections adamant that the four-time Group One winner has ‘nothing else to prove’.

The five-year-old became the first horse since Choisir in 2003 to win the King’s Stand Stakes over five furlongs on the first day of the meeting before following up over a furlong further in Saturday’s Diamond Jubilee.
